Chris Bennett of the Bopworks drumstick company teamed with Gene Krupa’s estate and biographer Dr. Bruce Klauber to develop this “officially sanctioned” GK model drumstick. An exact copy of the sticks Krupa used from his 1935 work with Benny Goodman up until his death in 1973, the drumsticks are pitch-paired and weight-matched. They feature a classic satin finish and green retro font, with Krupa’s name silk-screened in vintage blue. $15.95 retail.
