Losing lots of musical ideas to a bad memory? Don’t let it happen again. You can record the brilliant melodies that come to you in line at the grocery store with Edirol’s new, pocket-sized R-09, then flesh ’em out when you get back to the studio. The R-09 records WAV files in 24-bit resolution and features an onboard stereo mike as well as input for an external mike and output to audio or USB. It’s also a fine item for capturing a concert or field recording, and it records and plays back in MP3, too.
