At $7,000 per pair, the new F226BE doesn’t come cheap. But based on the very brief listen I got at the recent Rocky Mountain Audio Fest, it can hold its own with speakers costing 10 times that price. Revel is the high-end speaker brand from Harman International, parent company of JBL and Infinity, so it benefits from that company’s famed research division as well as some of the world’s most experienced speaker designers. The result is a speaker with utterly natural tonality and a super-spacious sound.
