Combine the $1,195 NewClassic 200 and a pair of great speakers, and you’ve got a world-class stereo that’s as simple and compact as it could be. The NewClassic 200’s 2.5-inch-high chassis packs in a 110-watt-per-channel amplifier, a preamp, a digital-to-analog converter, and a phono preamp that works with moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges. It also has a fully adjustable subwoofer crossover, an extremely useful feature found on almost no traditional stereo gear.
