Harmonica ace and Toots Thielemans disciple Will Galison discloses another side of his musicality on this upbeat album showcasing his superior songwriting talents. His clever lyrics and pleasant vocals carry smart, engaging numbers like “Risky Business,” “All in This Boat,” “Time to Forget You” and the title track, all of which evoke such legendary popmeisters as Paul Simon, Billy Joel and Paul McCartney. Galison stretches out a bit on harmonica on the New Orleans-flavored party number “Just Because You Gotta Itch,” but this is primarily a polished pop production, bolstered throughout by such session heavyweights as tenor saxophonist Bobby Malach, tuba and baritone virtuoso Howard Johnson, trombonist Art Baron and percussionists Jamey Haddad, Glen Velez and Manolo Badrena.
