Stanley Jordan Announces 18-City Tour

Guitarist’s new ‘Friends’ album includes Regina Carter, Nicholas Payton, Charlie Hunter, others

Guitarist Stanley Jordan has announced an 18-city worldwide tour beginning tomorrow and extending through next March. The performances, in support of Jordan’s new Mack Avenue album Friends, will feature Jordan’s longtime collaborators, bassist Charnett Moffett and drummer Kenwood Dennard, with various special guests to be announced per location.

On Friends, Jordan collaborates with a number of guests, including guitarists Bucky Pizzarelli, Mike Stern, Russell Malone and Charlie Hunter; violinist Regina Carter; saxophonists Kenny Garrett and Ronnie Laws; trumpeter Nicholas Payton; bassists Christian McBride and Moffett; and drummer Dennard.
