George Wein to Play Feinstein’s in NYC Sunday

Impresario will also be honored at Louis Armstrong House Museum Gala

George Wein, the 87-year-old founder of the Newport Jazz Festival and a respected pianist in his own right, will perform at Feinstein’s at Loews Regency, 540 Park Avenue at 61st Street, in New York, this Sunday, Dec. 2, 8:00-10:00 p.m. Wein wll be joined by Howard Alden, Bob Wilber, Anat Cohen, Jon-Erik Kellso, Jay Leonhart and Chuck Riggs for the show. Then, next Thursday, Dec. 4, at 6:00 p.m., Wein will be honored for his contributions to jazz at the Louis Armstrong House Museum Second Annual Gala.
