39th Annual Jazz Record Collectors’ Bash Set for June

The 39th Annual Jazz Record Collectors’ Bash is scheduled for June 21-22 at the Hilton Woodbridge, 120 Wood Avenue South, Iselin, NJ 08830

For sale will be 78s, LPs, CDs and memorabilia.

On Friday, 8:00 PM: Jazz collector and film historian David Weiner will present two hours of rare film and TV clips. After the films, rare record playoffs and challenges will be hosted by Henry Schmidt. Admission to the video screening is free with Bash admission or $5 each for film show only.

On Saturday, Ron Hutchinson, co-founder of the Vitaphone Project, will present a largely previously unseen collection of early sound jazz and vaudeville short subjects. There will be two different shows: 4:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m. and second show beginning at 8:00 p.m.

General admission: $20.00 covers buyer’s admission for two days (Friday & Saturday). After 5:00 p.m. Friday (including Saturday) and all day Saturday admission is $10.00. Early buyers will be admitted Thursday evening after 7:30 p.m. for $40.00.

Doors open 8:00 am on Friday & Saturday.
