2nd New York Hot Jazz Festival Set for May 18

12 hours of music, followed by a jam session

The second annual New York Hot Jazz Festival will take place May 18 at the Players Club, 16 Gramercy Park South in Manhattan, from 1:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Produced by Michael Katsobashvili, performer/producer Bria Skonberg and producer/composer Patrick Soluri, the program this year will feature Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks with Catherine Russell, Ken Peplowski’s New Swing with a special guest, the Hot Sardines, Frank Vignola and Vinny Raniolo, David Ostwald’s Louis Armstrong Eternity Band, Adrian Cunningham’s Old School, Bria Skonberg’s Brass Kicker plus another dozen bands and surprise special guests.

Following the festival, a jam session will take place at the Late Night Supper After-Party at Mona’s (224 Avenue B, between E. 13th and E. 14th Street) from 1a.m.-4 a.m.
