Gregory Porter, voted Best Male Vocalist in both the 2019 JazzTimes Readers’ and Critics’ Polls, will headline a U.S. tour in the fall of 2020 in support of his forthcoming Blue Note album All Rise.
The tour, which runs from September 20 to October 20, will include performances in Sacramento, Oakland, and San Diego, California; Scottsdale, Arizona; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Brooklyn, New York; Boston, Massachusetts; Cleveland, Ohio; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Durham, North Carolina; and Fort Wayne, Indiana. Additional performances will be announced shortly.
Tickets to each performance will also be bundled with a physical copy of All Rise, which Blue Note Records will release on April 20.
In addition, Porter will perform 11 concerts in the spring and summer, culminating with two Canadian appearances: at the Toronto Jazz Festival on July 2, and the Montreal Jazz Festival on July 4.
