Gregory Porter, the Grammy Award–winning jazz vocalist, and Ledisi, the Grammy-nominated R&B singer who also has a rich background in jazz, have announced an upcoming 10-city tour, beginning in early February and ending in late March.
The tour, which the artists will co-headline, will include Oakland, Atlantic City, Newark, Atlanta, St. Petersburg, Orlando, Houston, Grand Prairie, Chicago, and Detroit.
Although this is the singers’ first joint tour, they have performed live together several times before. In December 2018 they duetted on the song “Everything Must Change”—originally sung by its composer, Benard Ighner, on the 1974 Quincy Jones album Body Heat and subsequently covered by a variety of artists including Nina Simone, George Benson, and Nancy Wilson—as part of the BET network special Q 85: A Musical Celebration for Quincy Jones, in honor of Jones’ 85th birthday.
Tickets for most dates on the Porter/Ledisi tour officially went on sale Oct. 25, with the exception of Atlantic City (which goes on sale Nov. 1) and Atlanta (sale date TBA). To buy tickets and for more information on the shows, visit gregoryporter.com or ledisi.com—or click on the listings below.
