Juilliard Jazz Orchestra Presents “The Music of Oliver Nelson” on Feb. 22

On Wednesday, Feb. 22, the Juilliard Jazz Orchestra, led by trumpeter and guest conductor Etienne Charles, will present a concert of Oliver Nelson’s compositions and arrangements in The Music of Oliver Nelson. The set list includes Nelson’s most notable works including “Blues and the Abstract Truth,” “Emancipation Blues” and “Black, Brown and Beautiful” and his arrangements of “Stolen Moments,” “Domination” and “Down by the Riverside.”
