The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association will, for the sixth year in a row, present the annual Playboy Jazz Festival at the Hollywood Bowl on June 8 and 9.
The event, which will celebrate its 41st year in operation, will be hosted by comedian and actor George Lopez, marking the seventh year of his involvement with the festival.
Featured acts announced thus far will include Angélique Kidjo, Boz Scaggs, the Maceo Parker Big Band, Sheila E., Béla Fleck and the Flecktones, Harold López-Nussa, Sona Jobarteh, and Benny Golson’s 90th Birthday Quartet.
The full festival lineup will be revealed on Feb. 5, and tickets will go on sale March 5. For more information, go here.
