The 9th annual Lowcountry Jazz Festival, taking place Labor Day weekend (Sept. 1–3) at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center, has announced its full artist lineup. The festival supports Closing the Gap in Health Care, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is “to decrease health disparities and increase the health literacy of African Americans and the underserved communities throughout the Carolinas.”
- Sept. 1 – Damien Escobar & Brian Culbertson
- Sept. 2 – Jarrod Lawson, Robert Glasper and Lalah Hathaway
- Sept. 3 – West Coast Jam featuring Norman Brown, Rick Braun and Richard Elliot; Jeffrey Osborne
