BRIC JazzFest, Brooklyn, N.Y.’s acclaimed three-day marathon of music, has announced its finalized lineup for the 2021 festival.
Singer/songwriter Nick Hakim and saxophonist Roy Nathanson, trombonist Fred Wesley and the New JBs, trumpeter Adam O’Farrill, and bassist Adi Meyerson join a previously announced lineup for October 21-23 that includes Cécile McLorin Salvant, the Sun Ra Arkestra, and Madison McFerrin.
The October edition of BRIC JazzFest also returns the music to its in-person location at BRIC House (647 Fulton Street) after a virtual rendition took place in the spring.
Based in downtown Brooklyn, BRIC is an arts and media institution whose scope includes visual and performing art, media, and civic action. Its mission is to make cultural programming accessible to all, and to support artists and media makers in reaching new audiences.
