The Django Festival Allstars return for their annual run at the Birdland jazz club in New York City from July 12-17. The six nights of shows, dubbed the Django Reinhardt NY Festival, feature Pierre Blanchard, Ludovic Beier, Samson Schmitt, DouDou Cuillerier and Antonio Licusati, in a series of concerts along with special guests Ken Peplowski, James Carter, Houston Person, Edmar Castaneda, and John DiMartino. Produced by Pat Philips, the festival started in 1999, with the group going on to tour at venues throughout the U.S.
