With fall in full swing, the outdoor jazz-festival season has wound down after a busy summer that included the Pittsburgh Jazzlive Festival, the DC Jazz festival, the TD Ottawa Jazz Festival, the North Sea Jazz Festival, the Newport Jazz Festival, the Montclair Jazz Festival, the Springfield Jazz & Roots Festival and the Detroit Jazz Festival.
