On May 3, 2014 at the St. James Theatre in London, a concert celebrated the legacy of Charlie Parker’s recordings for Ross Russell’s Dial record label during the years 1946-1947. The performance was written and arranged by Alex Webb and featured Nathaniel Facey on alto sax, Freddie Gavita on trumpet and Webb on piano.
