Preservation Hall Jazz Band: The story of Preservation Hall dates back to the 1950s at Associated Artists, a small art gallery at 726 St. Peter Street in New Orleans’ French Quarter.

Preservation Hall Jazz Band: Sweet Emma Barrett was one of New Orleans’ most famous pianists and vocalists and performed regularly at the Hall and on tour.
Preservation Hall Jazz Band: The Sweet Emma album was then followed by the release of “Billie and De De Pierce and Their Preservation Hall Jazz Band,” released in 1966.
Preservation Hall Jazz Band: The Humphrey Brothers were another of the famous New Orleans bands that toured under the Preservation Hall name.
