On Monday night, April 20, the National Endowment for the Arts presented its annual NEA Jazz Masters awards ceremony and concert Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Rose Theater. Four new inductees were honored: pianist and composer Carla Bley, tenor saxophonist George Coleman, saxophonist and flutist Charles Lloyd and longtime Chicago club owner Joe Segal.
