The DC Jazz Festival celebrated its landmark 10th anniversary June 24-29 with a diverse selection of renowned and emerging artists performing in exceptional venues across the nation’s capital. Performers included vocalist Gregory Porter, Trombone Shorty, Cyrus Chestnut, the Dizzy Gillespie Afro-Cuban Experience, Snarky Puppy, Gary Bartz, Marc Cary, Robert Glasper Experiment, Roy Hargrove, Rudresh Mahanthappa, Paquito D’Rivera, Allyn Johnson, and the Brass-A-Holics, among numerous other outstanding artists.
