Bill Evans, one of the most influential pianists of modern jazz, possessed a lyrical style that has inspired generations of musicians. Led by guest music director Bill Charlap, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra played big band arrangements of Evans’ best-loved works such as “Waltz For Debby.” Jim Hall, the venerable guitarist and one of Evans’ great collaborators, joined the group for these special performances on May 14-15, 2010.
