On Oct. 27, the Jazz Foundation of America presented its 15th Annual “A Great Night in Harlem,” honoring Dr. John, recipient of the Hank Jones Award and McCoy Tyner, recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award. The event, which took place at the famous Apollo Theater, was hosted by Danny Glover and Joe Morton, and featured performances by the John Mayer Trio, Jon Batiste, Bruce Willis, Robert Cray and Robert Randolph.
