Wycliffe Gordon Performs Online from Pinecrest Gardens

Trombonist Wycliffe Gordon, an original member of the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra and a featured guest artist at the Kennedy Center, will be backed by Grammy-winner Dafnis Prieto conducting the Frost Concert JazzBand. Your hosts are Tito Puente, Jr, Billboard Music Award winner, and Ceci Velasco, Executive Director of Miami Beach’s Ocean Drive Association.

This concert is part of JazzAid Live at the Banyan Bowl, an eight-concert jazz series streamed live from the Pinecrest Gardens’ Banyan Bowl Amphitheater. In an effort to both save the famed series this year and help feed families across the nation, the Village of Pinecrest will make this iconic jazz series available to anyone with internet access. A generous portion of the proceeds from JazzAid Live will go directly to World Central Kitchen, founded by acclaimed international Chef José Andrés to help to feed families affected by the pandemic.
