Celebrate summer’s end on a high note by grooving to live blues, R&B, and more at the 26th annual Vancouver Island Blues Bash. The party starts August 31 and continues until September 2, featuring ticketed headliners Mike Farris & The Fortunate Few and Kevin Burt & Big Medicine at the Outdoor Stage at Ship Point (in Victoria’s Inner Harbour, 900 Block Wharf St.), as well as Lindsay Beaver plus Blue Moon Marquee at Hermann’s Upstairs (751 View St., above Hermann’s Jazz Club). In addition, free performances will occur from noon to 5 p.m. at Ship Point every day of the festival.
