Vera’s Heartbeat will present Brazilian guitar prodigy, Pedro Martins, on April 28 at blue whale in Los Angeles for an album release party . He returns to blue whale to release his awaited second record, VOX.

Pedro was the winner of The 2015 Socar Guitar Competition at the 49th Montreux Jazz Festival at only 21 years old. It leaded to great partnership with American guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel. Produced by Rosenwinkel, VOX is a bold musical statement with Martins serving as the principle composer and arranger as well as writing most of the lyrics.

Tickets cost $20 for students, $25 for others and will be sold at the door.
