Born and raised in the SF Bay Area, Mike has been performing professionally for 20 years. Known for being an exceptional talent and an accomplished musician, Trained extensively in jazz styles and well versed in many styles such as gospel, R&B, Afro-Cuban, funk, and reggae. Mike’s debut album Living for the Future explores a tale of love, challenge, fatherhood, community, culture, and the pursuit of living a life focused on achieving a better tomorrow.

Performing with Mike is Sangin’ Sara. An alumna of Dartmouth College, Sara has been singing since the age of 2 and has studied classical, gospel, and jazz. She is currently an international touring background singer for twelve-time Grammy-nominated artist Ledisi, serves as the background vocal director for Dave Hollister, and sings with many other esteemed artists, such as Ms. Anita Wilson, N’dambi, and Rahsaan Patterson.
