Marissa Licata has forged a remarkable international career as a soloist since 2006, when she was chosen by Ian Anderson as the lead violinist for a world tour with Jethro Tull. She was recently the concertmistress and violinist for the Alannis Morissette musical, Jagged Little Pill, in its sold-out run at the American Repertory Theater. This show features her passionate brand of gypsy fusion, along with a distinguished ensemble (Jerry Sabatini on trumpet, Scott Chasolen on piano, John Miller on bass and Shannon Ford on drums) and special guests, including James Montgomery on blues harmonica and vocals.
