Join us for “Jazz Night” on August 28th from 7-8:30 pm at BRUT Bar&Lounge in Feasterville Trevose, PA. The event will be featuring world class jazz artists including:
-Denis King, who is a Philly native with a world class reputation as she has performed on stages in Paris and Japan. A performer at the legendary Zanzibar Blue, Denise will be returning to the small part of the world her magnificent career took off in.
-V. Shayne Frederick, a musician from North Carolina who initially went to school for business administration, credits Philly for not only shifting his life into the path of music, but also gifting him with the ability to become the best musician he could be.
-Michal Beckham, who has toured the world with prestige jazz legends such as Clark Terry’s Big Bad Band and the late Grover Washington Jr. She has received major headline news coverage for her work at the Academy of Music.

Jazz Night is being held to further benefit the Philadelphia Jazz Experience. The PJE is a non-profit foundation that looks to help the jazz scene thrive in Philadelphia by owning and operating jazz clubs, teaching the Philadelphia youth about the wonders of jazz, and by sponsoring fresh and new jazz music and musicians in the community. The PJE is also collaborating with Dionysus Productions for the feature film “Metronome”. Akin to an actual metronome, this story is about “finding one’s rhythm in life”. “Metronome” follows the journey of young boy as he immersed himself into the world of Jazz in Philadelphia, particularly at the old yet classic Jazz club, Zanzibar Blue.
