About

Winchester Unitarian Society’s 2020-2021 Concert Series is celebrating African American music, and this year its acclaimed “Jazz in the Sanctuary” concert will highlight the remarkable musicians who created and developed the jazz art form. The program features works by Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock, and many other jazz greats. Music will be performed by John Kramer on piano, Rick McLaughlin on bass, and Yoron Israel on drums. This is a benefit concert, with proceeds shared by Winchester ABC (A Better Chance; https://www.winchesterabc.org) and Winchester Unitarian Society (https://www.winchesteruu.org).
