Hear how artists like Horace Silver, Cannonball Adderley, Gene Ammons, Lou Donaldson, Jimmy Smith, the Jazz Crusaders, and Lee Morgan combined their bebop roots with a heavy dose of blues, backbeat, gospel, and soul, to get their audiences out of their chairs and on to the dance floor.
