As part of the [iNSIDE] THE JAZZ NOTE Guest Artist Series, JAZZ HOUSE KiDS presents “An Introduction To Choro and How It Changed My Life,” hosted by multiple GRAMMY-nominated jazz clarinetist, saxophonist, and bandleader Anat Cohen.

Anat Cohen will be discussing her musical discovery and passion for Brazilian choro music. She will play examples live, as well as share essential audio recordings and video, to discuss the roles of each instrument and the dynamic group interplay of a choro band. This session promises to have you feeling the rhythms of Rio right from your home. Curated by Ted Chubb, trumpeter & JAZZ HOUSE Director of Cultural Programming.
