An evening of jazz and spoken word with legendary artists! This event will pair Danny Simmons—the co-creator of Def Poetry Jam and an accomplished author, poet, and painter—with legendary two-time Grammy-winning bassist Ron Carter, whose appearances on 2,221 recording sessions make him the most-recorded jazz bassist in history. Also joining Simmons and Carter will be Carter’s Golden Striker Trio and spoken-word artists ursula rucker, Derick Cross, and Bonafide Rojas.
