GLIDE—a nationally recognized center for social justice dedicated to fighting systemic injustices, creating pathways out of poverty and crisis, and transforming lives—is proud to announce its first ever Virtual GLIDE Annual Holiday Jam: Rise Up For Change taking place online Thursday, November 19. The Annual Holiday Jam is a joyful evening of music, celebration and community benefitting GLIDE’s programs and services. The evening will bring together GLIDE’s supporters and community members virtually, for a special program of live-streamed performances mixed with footage of some of the top moments in Holiday Jam history. The list of artists participating includes India.Arie, Joan Baez, Lisa Fischer, Michael Franti, Tom Johnston, Ledisi, Valerie Simpson and D’Wayne Wiggins, and more to be announced.
