Charged Particles Plays the Music of Michael Brecker at Portola Vineyards

Bay-area saxophonist Tod Dickow and 30-year-old jazz trio Charged Particles will play compositions by jazz superstar Michael Brecker, from their new CD on Summit Records. The band has toured the U.S. and abroad and has done hundreds of concert, festival, and club performances. Downbeat Magazine called the group “inventive, invigorating, stunning, mesmerizing, lyrical, rhapsodic, virtuosic, and joyful.” The owner of New York City’s famed Birdland jazz club called their performance “Awesome”.
