50th Next Generation Jazz Festival

The Next Generation Jazz Festival will celebrate its 50th anniversary on April 3-5, 2020 online at montereyjazzfestival.org/ngjf. This free, three-day festival showcases over 1,300 of the nation’s top student musicians from middle and high school groups of every kind: big bands, combos, and vocal ensembles. The winning ensembles from the competitive divisions are invited back to perform at the annual Monterey Jazz Festival in September.
