Wynton Marsalis, Stephen Sondheim Collaborate on Musical

“A Bed and a Chair: A New York Love Affair” will run in November in NYC

Stephen Sondheim and Wynton Marsalis have collaborated on a new musical, A Bed and a Chair: A New York Love Affair, which will run from Nov. 13-17 in New York City. The program will feature more than two dozen Sondheim compositions, each piece newly re‐imagined by Marsalis, who will perform the music with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra.

Wed 7:30 p.m., Thu 7 p.m. (Gala Performance), Fri 8 p.m., Sat 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., Sun 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Performances will be held at City Center’s venue at 131 West 55th Street (between 6th & 7th Avenues) in New York City.
