Toronto radio station JAZZ.FM91 will conduct its Holiday Heroes Instrument Drive to bring musical instruments to the Parkdale neighborhood of the Ontario city. The drive is being held partnership with Long & McQuade and 1800-RID-OF-IT. According to a press release, JAZZ.FM91 is “calling on our listeners and members of the community to serve as a ‘holiday hero’ and donate their gently loved instruments to a group of deserving schools in Parkdale. Last year, JAZZ.FM91 collected over 75 instruments for the Regent Park School of Music, putting well needed instruments in the hands of young aspiring musicians.”
