Vocalist Sophie Milman has announced a fall tour in support of her fourth album, In the Moonlight (eOne Music). Canadian Milman, a Juno Award winner, plans shows in Boston, New London, New York, Washington, D.C., Denver, Seattle, San Diego and Los Angeles.
In the Moonlight includies such tracks as George Gershwin/Buddy DeSylva’s “Do It Again,” Kurt Weill’s “Speak Low,” Serge Gainsbourg’s “Ces Petits Riens,” Antonio Carlos Jobim and Jon Henrdricks’ “No More Blues,” and two from Duke Ellington: “Prelude to a Kiss” and “Day Dream.”
