On Thursday, June 4 and Friday, June 5, Ropeadope Records and its sister media company 21Soul will present the Ropeadope Music and Arts Festival, a two-day online event. It will serve as a fundraiser for Renew Music, a Ropeadope initiative designed to support artists and help them “navigate the paradigm shift caused by…COVID-19.”

The festival will include live-streaming and prerecorded performances, artist conversations, panel discussions, and premieres of new audio and video from upcoming Ropeadope releases. In addition, Friday afternoon will feature a “Ropeadope Family Hang”—in which dozens of Ropeadope artists will answer fan questions and present “general positive representations of the world.”

Friday is also Fee Free Friday at Bandcamp, one of the music site’s regular buying days in which it waives its share of album-purchase revenue. The Ropeadope Music and Arts Festival will take advantage of that occasion with special offerings that include signed CDs, live music, limited vinyl releases (including Terrace Martin’s Velvet Portraits), and previously unreleased music and video.

The full schedule for the festival is as follows. All times are ET. Visit the Ropeadope Records website for further details, including how to access the festival.
