Rare Esperanza Spalding Track to Support Environmental Cause

Singer/bassist Spalding and other artists release tracks for Patagonia in support of grassroots environmental organizations

On June 20, 2011, the apparel company Patagonia released Patagonia Music Collective, Volume 3. On this album are previously unreleased tracks from various established and rising artists, such as Esperanza Spalding with “Life of a Ripple” and Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR) with “When It All Comes Down”.

Lisa Pike, Patagonia’s director of environmental awareness and activism, said in a press release, “Working with artists to help fund critical work of grassroots environmental organizations is one creative approach that not only raises money but increases awareness and activism.”
