Vocalist Nicole Henry will hold a month-long residency at Manhattan’s Blue Note throughout November. The singer will perform two shows each Sunday at the New York club, at 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. This is the first time an artist will be in residency at the Blue Note’s Sunday Brunch shows for a full month, according tr a press release.
Henry will perform from her repertoire of jazz standards and originals as well as songs from her album So Good, So Right, which showcases her interpretations of some of her favorite hits of the 1970s from artists including Bill Withers, Aretha Franklin, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, the Commodores and Gladys Knight.
Sunday Brunch at Blue Note is $29.50 per person every week and includes a live performance, brunch and a cocktail. Tickets can be purchased at Blue Note.
