Kenny Werner Named Artistic Director of New Berklee Program

Pianist/composer will lead Performance Wellness Institute

Boston’s Berklee College of Music has appointed pianist/composer and alumnus Kenny Werner artistic director of the college’s Performance Wellness Institute (PWI), described in a press releases as “a new program that helps students develop and maintain healthy performances practices.”

This fall, Werner will be offering master classes on improvisation and performance techniques over the course of eight residencies.
