Fresh off the celebration of our 50th anniversary, we’d like to announce a new initiative for our sixth decade in business: the launch of the JazzTimes Membership Program. Now, by joining one of three membership tiers, JT readers can get full access both to 20-plus years of existing content on our website and to exclusive content and events that are available to members only.
The basic Member tier entitles users to every article in the JazzTimes archive, including features, reviews, and classic columns by such lauded writers as Gary Giddins, Nat Hentoff, Stanley Crouch, and Nate Chinen. It also offers full access to our video archive and to live monthly Before & After listening sessions held via Zoom with a variety of top jazz artists; recent guests have included saxophonist Shabaka Hutchings, guitarist David Gilmore, and drummer Johnathan Blake.
The Member Plus tier has additional benefits, including access to our Artist Spotlight bio pages, monthly lists of new jazz releases, the JazzTimes digital back issue library, and the opportunity to sit in live on selected artist interviews, conducted online by our team of top music journalists.
Finally, the VIP Member tier, designed with members of the jazz industry in mind, includes access to our online Jazz Education and Jazz Festival Guides, which offer more detailed information than their annual print counterparts, plus exclusive access to the online-only Jazz Radio Guide. VIPs will also receive invites to regular online Industry Insider conversations, as well as event and product discounts from various JT partners.
