Trumpeter and bandleader Irvin Mayfield will curate a program that includes a presentation with the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, Aaron Neville and other New Orleans artists at New York’s Apollo Theater, Nov. 8 at 8p.m. The program, according to a press release, will feature “lesser-known 1950s/1960s R&B music in original, big band arrangements.”
