Impulse! Records will release a previously unissued duo recording featuring guitarist Jim Hall and bassist Charlie Haden on Sept. 30. Simply titled Charlie Haden-Jim Hall, the recording was made July 2, 1990 at the Montreal International Jazz Festival. Ethan Iverson of The Bad Plus contributes liner notes.
Hall died in December 2013 and Haden passed away on July 11 of this year.
