Pianist, saxophonist, bandleader, composer and arranger Gordon Goodwin will headline the third annual KJAZZ Summer Benefit Concert at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles on June 27. Goodwin, with his Big Phat Band, won a Grammy for Best Large Jazz Ensemble for their album Life in the Bubble in February. The group has scored 20 Grammy nominations in all.
