
After a 15-year hiatus, the Concord Jazz Festival will celebrate its 50th anniversary on Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Concord Pavilion in Concord, Calif., with featured artists such as Chick Corea, the Count Basie Orchestra, and more.
Last held in 2004, the festival is known for having had a direct impact on the founding of the Concord Jazz record label, which was launched in 1973 and has gone on to great success in the industry.
