Blue Note Records has signed Robert Randolph, and will release a new album by the virtuoso pedal steel guitarist this summer. Randolph’s last album was 2010’s We Walk This Road. The new album is being produced by Randolph, engineered by Eddie Kramer, and showcases his Family Band, comprising Marcus Randolph, Danyel Morgan and Lenesha Randolph, together with guitarist Brett Haas. The new album features special guest appearances from Trombone Shorty and Carlos Santana.
