On Oct. 25, the Blue Note Jazz Club organization, now in its 35th year, will open Blue Note Napa at the historic Napa Valley Opera House in Napa, Calif. Grammy Award-winning trumpeter Chris Botti will mark the official grand opening with a four-night stint at both the intimate first-floor jazz club and the second-floor Opera House Ballroom, followed by a performance by the Struts on Nov. 4.
Blue Note Napa, part of Blue Note Entertainment Group’s network, which includes music venues in Washington, D.C., Milan, Hawaii, Beijing and Japan, and the flagship Blue Note New York, will feature national and international artists, as well as Bay Area and local acts, combined with fine wine, craft beer and a farm-to-table seasonal menu.
“We’re proud to celebrate Blue Note’s 35th anniversary with the opening of Blue Note Napa,” says Steven Bensusan, president of Blue Note Entertainment Group, in a press release. “Our established venues in Japan and new outposts in China and Hawaii will create new routing opportunities to bring world-renowned artists to the North Bay wine country.”
Located at 1030 Main Street in downtown Napa, Blue Note Napa, which is currently undergoing a first-floor renovation, will be open seven days a week. For more information, including tickets for all Blue Note and Opera House Ballroom performances, visit bluenotenapa.com.
